Marine Kayak Tours
(as seen on Sydney Weekender Program)

Enjoy the beauty of the areas pristine waters and marine life on a 2 hour guided tour with qualified kayak instructors. The location we choose depends on the ocean and estuary conditions at the time.

Merimbula Tour

The adventure begins near the jetty at Fishpen where everyone meets for initial instruction and fitting of equipment. The kayaking tour makes its way around Merimbula Lake to the mouth opening and a stop at Bar beach. We venture into Merimbula bay and out to the historic wharf and beyond. There is always a chance of spotting dolphins, seals, and whales in season. Snorkelling and some morning tea takes place around a sheltered marine play area and then it’s off to catch some small spilling waves on the bar.

Pambula Beach Tour

The moment we paddle onto the water you’ll be inspired by the beautiful Pambula River. In ideal conditions the bar provides an exhilarating 100 metre spilling wave that you can ride or just observe others. After our familiarisation and play we paddle north east towards haycock point and find a secluded little beach for morning tea and a snorkel. Dolphins often venture to this corner of the bay. On our return clients usually plead for another play in the waves to complete the experience.

What our customers say

"Ocean Kayaking - As a family with teenagers this first time experience was a fun and exhilarating experience - a real hoot.
Surf lessons - these were  found to be a good, fun induction, one that a whole family could enjoy. The friendly and professional assistance provided made both these activities a rewarding and enjoyable experience, no doubt to be repeated next holidays". Silverlock Family - Melbourne 2007
